Turnkey compressor skid design & build
Rockwell were selected to carry out the design and construction of two compressed air skids for delivery to the MSD Carlow project in 2022. The skids included two 125kw compressors with two desiccant driers. The in-house design team used REVIT to design the unique engineering solution specifically to the client’s requirements. Rockwell provided a 1,000 Amp distribution board on the skid and completed all electrical power and control signals, including instrumentation and containment. Additionally, we designed, fabricated, and installed 6 stainless-steel roof stacks & integrated weathering cowls.

With precision and expertise, Rockwell’s in-house fabrication workshops collaborated to assemble these skids and seamlessly integrated all ancillary equipment. The project’s scope also encompassed the required network of interconnecting pipework, electrical and control to ensure reliable operation. All testing and commissioning was completed at Rockwell’s Cork facility, witnessed by the client.
