Experienced pharma HVAC provider for major capital investment
The construction of Bristol Myers Squibb’s (BMS) new facility represented the largest ever capital investment for the American bio-pharma company and was the first biologics drug substance facility built by the industry giant outside of the United States.
A major project, BMS sought an experienced pharma HVAC provider with specialist knowledge of the pharma sector who could deliver at scale to a significantly compressed schedule.
Compressed schedule delivery of 42,000m2 of HVAC services
Rockwell were trusted with early design integration, installation and testing of 42,000m2 of HVAC services across two buildings: 6,000m2 in the central utilities building, and a further 36,000m2 in parallel in the large-scale cell structure (LSCC).
This ambitious schedule demanded the installation and commissioning support of an average of 2,000m2 of equipment and HVAC services per week, which was fully supported by our off site fabrication workshop.
The project was successfully delivered on schedule.
